My 3 grandchildren 6,8, and 11 all go to martial art. They learn discipline, respect, supporting those who need help. Since they started classes, they became self confident and responsible kids.The students are really very nice and goal oriented and it is great to see how some of them become close friends. Physically, they learn kicks ,punches and combo form. They are now more flexible and learn how to be fair during sparring. All three of them learn how to focus and how to bee a great team member.
There is a very nice atmosphere in this school, no aggression or rude behavior.
The teacher are excellent und very patient. Especially now since society changes to digitale activities, a great workout combined with respectful behavior helps to keep kids on the right path.
That was one of the best decision we made.
My daughter has had a great experience in their little Ninja and little dragon classes. She has so much fun during class and looks forward to going. The instructors are amazing with kids!

We’ve had our son here since the day he turned 3, and he still gets excited every single time we go, which probably says more than anything else I could write.
All of the instructors strike a really impressive balance: they’re patient with the kids, push them to work hard, and still make sure they’re having fun. They know how to get the best out of each child while building confidence instead of pressure. Over time we’ve seen our son become noticeably more confident and disciplined, and he’s even learned ways to center and refocus himself that we now use at home.
What we also appreciate is that it feels like more than just a place to train. They put effort into creating a community- hosting events and parties and making families feel welcome, not just enrolled.
We’re honestly grateful for how they’ve treated our family, and we’re confident this experience will have a long-term positive impact on our son. We’d recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.
I cannot say enough good things about this karate school and its incredible team. Everyone has been amazingly supportive of my daughter, especially right now as she goes through a period of big changes in her life. The coaches and staff are always there for her with patience, encouragement, and genuine care.
Beyond learning great martial arts skills, they teach strong core values and reinforce good behavior, respect, and discipline. Knowing she is in such a positive, nurturing environment gives me complete peace of mind. My son has been going to the CMA for about four months. He enjoys every moment of his training.
When he started he was very quiet and didn't show that he was interested for his classes, but thanks to great instructors, I see a big change and he is always training around the house and screaming loudly KIAI-KIAI🥋
We love CMA northbrook! In just a short time I can already see a difference in my son. They have been really creative during this time of crisis and my son is looking forward to all new ways he can take a class.
Since my son started in the Championship Martial Arts ,I have seen an improvement in my son’s attitude. CMA Northbrook has been a great partner to our family! Not only do my daughters love the classes, they have also offered it to us, as the parents to join in when we would like to try. They have been so supportive and helpful during the pandemic -- providing an outlet for our whole family to have physical activity together in the comfort of our own home. They are encouraging and I see my daughters grow under that care. It says a lot when the girls (ages 4 and 6) prioritize class over a birthday party!
We love CMA and the instructors. The students and parents get help and encouragement during every class. Thanks to that my son is in great physical shape, he is more focused, and more responsible. He is a better person because of this school and I will always be thankful for that!!!
My son started at CMA 7 years ago. He’s now 10 years old and just received his black belt this past December. This is how long he has worked hard to achieve this! Master Sanjin has been there since we started and has a great way with kids. They listen and I would say they definitely look up to him. Master Theodore came a little later but has just as great influence on them as well. Of course Master Miller we thank for opening a great place like this for kids to learn discipline, self worth and perseverance. She has all those qualities herself. I would definitely recommend Championship Martial Arts for all those reasons.
